In my current project The Broken Trade Winds. I work with historical material as a raw matter, as well as more conventional research in the archives of colonial material in particular the English earthenware, and the role of trading during the British colonization in Africa, especially exported earthenware from England to Africa, and the popularity of this type of products during this era. It explores the relationship between the growth of the English export ceramics industry and the history of the African Diaspora.
